how to paint textured layers
Here is a lil' video, a request for the lovely Carrie :) We are both participating in the Purpose Project, and we have been doing all sorts of fun things to feed our creative souls. A little meditation here and there, lots of creative prompts, lots of art journaling and paintings of things --- like a bagua dresser (or, a bagua garden gate - a beautiful idea that Kiersten had!) We had just recently participated in a group coaching call...one of my favorite parts of coaching. I just love hearing the feedback and insights everyone in the group. It truly is inspiring...
And we have only just begun! Tomorrow, marks the second month, where we will receive more creative goodness, which means more journaling prompts, photo prompts, meditations and other goodies. I am SO excited, because we are starting the journey of our Chakras - this month, we'll be exploring our ROOT CHAKRA...ahhhhhh, I can already feel my body, mind and spirit aligning as it should. A balance of energy. Cleansing for the soul.
On a side note, Whitney Freya made her way down from Oregon to lead a few creative workshops here in California. So, of course, I had to meet her in Santa Barbara for a Sacred Symbol Workshop. It was so nice to connect in person. My (creative coaching) life is complete. I journaled, painted, and met some beautiful souls from Santa Barbara and Ojai. It was a wonderful way to end the weekend and a great opportunity to see Whitney in action - such great energy. I look forward to leading a workshop like this for you (yes, YOU!)
