On DesireeEast.com we provide coaching programs for clients delivered via email and live events, including virtual webinars and screencasts, coaching clients about creativity, personal development, and professional development, and offer digital resources available for purchase through online programs (the "SERVICE").

USE OF INFORMATION

The COMPANY uses third-party platforms such as Squarespace, Simplero, Acuity Scheduling, Biosites (Squarespace), EasyWebinar, and Deadline Funnel to collect email subscribers, facilitate events, and provide course access through embedded forms, landing pages, and sign-up features. The COMPANY also uses Zapier as an automation tool to securely connect and transfer information between platforms (e.g., between your sign-up form and course delivery software). Zapier does not store long-term user data but facilitates the secure movement of your submitted information across systems in accordance with GDPR compliance. These platforms store your email and contact details securely in accordance with their own privacy practices. You can unsubscribe at any time using the links provided or by contacting us directly.

Information submitted will be used by the COMPANY to:

  • Email requested information or newsletters

  • Provide access to requested content, services, and digital programs

  • Process transactions and send confirmations or receipts

  • Communicate service updates, support messages, and promotions

  • Respond to customer service requests or technical support inquiries

PERSONAL DATA submitted voluntarily is held within:

  • The COMPANY’s Simplero, Squarespace, Biosites, EasyWebinar, Deadline Funnel, and Zapier accounts, or other secure email management platforms

  • Until the SUBSCRIBER unsubscribes, or up to two years, unless otherwise requested

GROUP PROGRAMS, ZOOM CALLS, AND LIVE EVENTS

Desiree East Studios may record live group coaching calls, workshops, and private events hosted via Zoom, EasyWebinar, or other digital platforms. These recordings may include audio, video, chat, or screen shares that display participant names, images, voices, or shared content.

Recordings are shared only with other paying participants within the specific program, in a secure, private, members-only space. Desiree East Studios will not publicly share your contributions without written consent.

If you turn on your camera or microphone during live sessions, you consent to being recorded and included in group replays. You may turn off your camera or microphone at any time.

Parents and Caregivers: If attending with children present, please take steps to protect their privacy. Desiree East Studios is not responsible for the appearance of minors in session replays or shared content.

MEMBERSHIP & COMMUNITY CONTENT

All artwork, creative expressions, or personal reflections shared in our courses, forums, or membership sites remain the intellectual property of the original creator.

By participating, you agree to respect the creative and personal boundaries of others. Do not copy, screenshot, share, download, or distribute another participant’s content without explicit written permission.

LEGAL BASIS FOR USE OF INFORMATION

The COMPANY is legally processing SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA based on:

  • Voluntary and explicit consent

  • A contractual relationship between COMPANY and SUBSCRIBER

  • The COMPANY’s legitimate interest

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

Your PERSONAL DATA is never sold, leased, or shared with unrelated third parties. We may share your information with trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors, hosting platforms, Squarespace, Simplero, Acuity Scheduling, Biosites, EasyWebinar, and email marketing platforms) who assist in operating our website or delivering services. These providers agree to keep your data secure and confidential.

Credit card information is securely processed through Stripe or PayPal. The COMPANY does not store payment details.

We may disclose PERSONAL DATA to comply with legal obligations or to protect rights and safety when required by law enforcement.

The COMPANY may disclose SUBSCRIBER information in special cases when required by legal and or law enforcement and only when required by law.

  • To file a complaint with the supervisory authority;

  • The right to unsubscribe at any time (withdraw consent)

PROFILING PERSONAL DATA

Profiling means any form of automated processing of PERSONAL DATA consisting of the use of PERSONAL DATA to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a SUBSCRIBER, in particular to analyse or predict aspects concerning that SUBSCRIBER’S performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movements;

CHILDREN

To access or use the Site, you must be 18 years old or older and have the requisite power and authority to enter into this Privacy Policy. Children under the age of 18 are prohibited from using the Site.
