the story behind my nautilus painting ‘expansion’: art as a symbol of personal growth
🌞It’s officially ART SEASON
I’ve been in full creative flow this summer, and I’m so honored to be showing multiple works here in beautiful Ventura💫
One of the pieces I recently reworked is called “Expansion.”
It’s deeply personal, something I painted during the early days of launching my creativity coaching practice, back when I was transitioning from landscape design into sacred transformational work.
The original version was moody and dark… vintage black edges and all (anyone else? 😂).
But this season, I felt called to breathe new light into it. To let the texture, color, and spiral of the nautilus speak louder than before.
This sacred symbol, which I also use throughout my brand, reminds me that we’re always evolving.
Always expanding. Even when it’s subtle. Even when it’s hard to see.
Each new “chamber” of life invites us to grow in deeper alignment with who we truly are.
