Manifesting Your Desires: A Creative Journaling Prompt for Your Future Self

creativity coaching with artist desiree east

Today, I have Lil’ MINI coaching sesh and creative writing prompt for you:

1) Grab your journal or blank sheet of paper and something to write with.
2) Set a timer for 10-15 mins (or more if that’s where your energy is taking you).
3) Find a comfortable place to sit and ground yourself.
4) Close your eyes and take 5 deep cleansing breaths through your nose to reset your nervous system and RELAXXXXX...
5) Then answer these questions. For long-term goals and manifestations, look a year or more ahead. For short-term goals and manifestations, imagine the timeline being within the same year:

🔸”If I were living my most optimal life 1 year from now what would that look like?”
🔸 “If I were living my most optimal life 3-6 months from now, what would that look like?”
🔸”When I think about behaving as my future self, I feel...”
🔸 “My future self has had to let go of these thoughts in order to grow...”
🔸 “I am grateful that my future self is...”
🔸 “One thing I could do TODAY to behave like my future self is...”

- Write whatever comes to mind in your journal and don’t hold back!
- Extra Credit: Do this creative exercise as a regular part if your self-care routine. Exercising your right-brain muscles is just as important as eating healthy and and doing physical exercise!! This a wonderful exercise to help manifest your desires by resetting thought patterns and belief systems that no longer serve the NEW you.

What does your future self look and feel like? Please let me know what you discovered after doing this creative prompt.

Sending massive love to you and your BRILLIANT self!!

With love and creative bliss,
Desiree
