💫Have you tried this before?

I’m prepping for an art retreat for staff members at California State University Channel Islands, and we’re going to play with abstract watercolors as a form of meditation and infuse neurographic art in the mix.

I get so excited when I introduce art-making as a form of meditation, and I especially love sharing how creativity stimulates neuroplasticity - by encouraging the brain to form new neural connections and pathways. This is significant when you want to make positive changes in your life…this practice can enhance cognitive flexibility and adaptability, supporting you during transformational changes.

So, the next time you’re in the “creative zone,”that would be the ideal time to meditate on positive affirmations - in turn, you’ll create new beliefs and new thoughts and habits that will support your growth .

Remember, when you’re creating art, it’s not always about the end result or end product that has to look perfect and beautiful. Embrace the in-between creative processes, even the messy parts. That’s where the magic and growth happens!!

Have you tried using watercolors or neurographic art as a form of meditation? Would you like to learn more about this practice? Lemme know what you think in the comments below!!

As always, thanks for your support and being in my world!
