I just wanted to pop in and let you know that as a valued customer of Desiree East Studios, I want to keep you informed of any changes that relate to your privacy and security. You are here because at some point we’ve worked together or you’ve accessed a creativity course, signed up to receive information, or bought a product from me. For that, I am grateful we have connected!
To keep pace with new data protection rules for EU customers based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and to help simplify and explain your choices about your data, I have updated my Privacy Policy and Terms Of Use, effective May 25th, 2018. Please click below to view:
What this means for you (it's ALL good):
More clarity and data transparency: I have simplified the language around the information I collect from you and how it is used, along with explanations of your choices for controlling personal information with Desiree East Studios.
The GDPR is intended to give EU citizens more control, choices and rights over how their data is used and puts forth guidelines for the collection and processing of data for businesses. Desiree East Studios has an international customer base, so I've decided to roll this out globally, so this means data protection for ALL of my customers, even if you are outside of EU.
There is no action required on your part. However, the updated Privacy Policy and Terms of use will apply to you if you continue to use my products and services on and after May 25, 2018.
