welcome back, welcome baby kirra

Hello Dearest Creative Tribe!!

It's been nearly a year, and I'm officially emerging from maternity leave. I've actually been slooooooowly making the transition, doing a bit of work behind the scenes (both professional and personal growth) and completely immersing myself in the incredible journey that is motherhood. Spiritually wise, I've been committed to taking daily beach walks and occasional hikes to connect with mother earth, as well as, creating sacred space for my personal painting practice by connecting with animal totems that have kept me grounded through this time, reminding me that I am exactly where I need to be.

I wasn't sure how I was going to make an 'official' announcement. Write a new blog post? Throw a (painting) party? Launch a brand-spanking new program? Do a little song, do a little dance?

I really couldn't figure out how to create the perfect way to let you know what I've been up to (or schedule the perfect time to do it, for that matter), until one of my business colleagues, Holly G, invited me to do a fun little video project called, #1min1take. Maybe I will end up doing a little song and a little dance for you!!

This mini video series will be the perfect way to let you know what I've been up to and how I've been able to keep my head in the (creative business) game this past year and what I plan on doing as I transition into working at home as a new mom (BTW, thank you all TONS for the good vibes, sweet blessings, and support you've sent to me, Baby Kirra, and Brendon, as we stumble out of first-year survival mode - WE DID IT!!).

So, here's my welcome back video. (If you'd like to join me at the last-minute for this super duper easy challenge, be sure to visit: www.bit.ly/1min1take).

THANKS FOR WATCHING, AND LOOK FORWARD TO CONNECTING MORE, AS I SHIFT TOWARD GETTING BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS!!
