Hello Nature lovers and photog lovers!! Spring is right around the corner, and Brendon and I have been going on some pretty fun hikes, while the weather is still nice and cool. This photo was taken on The Grotto trail, just above Malibu in California. FUN FACT: Native Americans used to use lemonade berry to sweeten their water!

For the local peeps, just take PCH-Pacific Coast Hwy to Yerba Buena Road (right next to Neptune's Net Restaurant and across from County Line Beach). Turn on Yerba Buena, head through the mountains, until you reach Circle X Ranch Ranger Station. From there, you can find signs leading to the trailhead...for entertainment's sake, try and imagine me doing that in my best 'valley girl' accent, like how they do it on SNL's (Saturday Night Live's) parody called, 'The Californians'.

If anyone feels inclined to join me and other WordPress bloggers for weekly photo challenges, please do! Just follow the prompts for this week’s theme. You have until Friday share what you’ve come up with…Happy Shooting!
