Between deadlines, interviews, and screenings, it looks like Emmy-Award Winning (2005 Fuel TV Documentary "Tsunami Relief Story") Cyrus Sutton has been busy, busy, busy. Whether it is working on multiple creative projects with the crew at Korduroy.tv or shaping custom handplaners and alaias, he is the epitome of creative awesomeness that comes with our surf culture. I had a chance to contact Cyrus, and as he is taking off - to the big time, that is - here is what he had to say:

"I'm honored to be a part of this year's SBIFF. The creation of the film was such a serendipidous process; starting out as just a webseries on our website, Korduroy.tv, it quickly became apparent during production that this was a film with a greater message. I'm just psyched to share it with the awesome people of Santa Barbara."

Well, we are very lucky to have an artist, such as yourself, sharing the the stoke and the creative spirit of art and surfing around the world. Thanks Cy, props to you, and looking forward to seeing future projects unfold!
